The Gensiv connector for [Looker Studio](https://lookerstudio.google.com) brings your daily AI visibility data into reports and dashboards you can share with your team or clients. No code is needed.

## Connect [#connect]

    ### Create an API key [#create-an-api-key]

    In the Gensiv app, open **Settings → API keys** and create a key named `Looker Studio`. See [Authentication](/docs/authentication).

    ### Add the Gensiv data source [#add-the-gensiv-data-source]

    Open the Gensiv connector link from your early-access email in Looker Studio and select **Authorize** to let it call the Gensiv API.

    ### Paste your key and pick a brand [#paste-your-key-and-pick-a-brand]

    Paste the API key when asked, then choose the brand to report on and select **Connect**.

    ### Build your report [#build-your-report]

    Select **Create report**. Use the date range control to choose the period. Each data source covers one brand, so add another data source for each brand you want to report on.

## Fields [#fields]

The connector reads [daily metrics](/docs/api-reference/metrics/getDailyMetrics): one row per day, engine and company.

| Field            | Type      | Description                                                   |
| ---------------- | --------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Date             | Dimension | The day, in UTC.                                              |
| Engine           | Dimension | The engine slug, such as `chatgpt`.                           |
| Entity type      | Dimension | `brand` or `competitor`.                                      |
| Company          | Dimension | Your brand or the competitor's name.                          |
| Responses        | Metric    | AI responses collected.                                       |
| Mentions         | Metric    | Responses that name the company.                              |
| Visibility       | Metric    | Mentions divided by responses, recalculated for any grouping. |
| Average position | Metric    | Average position in ranked answers. Lower is better.          |
| Sentiment        | Metric    | From 0 (negative) to 100 (positive).                          |

  Filter on **Entity type** equals `brand` to chart only your own brand, or leave it off to compare against competitors.

## Troubleshooting [#troubleshooting]

* **"Invalid credentials"**: the key was deleted or mistyped. Create a new key and reconnect the data source.
* **No data**: check the report's date range, and that the brand has tracked prompts with answers in that range.
* **Plan required**: the workspace needs an active Pro or Enterprise plan.
