## Can I ask an AI assistant about my Gensiv data?

Yes, through MCP today. Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor connect to the Gensiv MCP server with OAuth sign-in on Starter and above and can read prompts, answers, visibility, citations and gaps, or add prompts and competitors when you allow changes. Agent chat inside the Gensiv dashboard, with recurring tasks, is coming soon.

Coming soon. Every plan already includes prompt tracking, citations, Reddit and content gaps, from $29 a month, with a 7-day trial.

## Connect your assistant over MCP

Add the Gensiv MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor and sign in. Scripts and agents can use workspace API keys instead.

- **MCP server**: Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor over MCP with your own Gensiv sign-in.
- **REST API**: Read prompts, answers, visibility, citations and gaps with workspace keys, and add or edit prompts and competitors with keys that allow changes.

## How the AI agent works

1. **Connect over MCP**: Add https://app.gensiv.com/api/mcp to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor. This works today.
2. **Sign in**: Approve access with your Gensiv account. Access is read-only unless you turn on Allow changes.
3. **Ask in chat**: Agent chat inside the dashboard will answer from your prompts, citations and gaps. Coming soon.
4. **Schedule tasks**: Recurring tasks, such as a weekly visibility briefing, are planned for agent chat. Coming soon.

### What can I do with the Gensiv agent today?

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor over MCP and ask about your prompts, AI answers, visibility, citations and content gaps, or have it add prompts and competitors. Scripts can do the same with the API.

### When is agent chat in the dashboard coming?

It is in development and has no public date yet. Book a demo to see where it stands.

### Can the agent change my data or publish content?

Only if you allow it. MCP connections and API keys are read-only by default. With Allow changes on, the assistant can add and edit prompts, competitors and personas, move actions and start articles. It can't publish anything to your site.
