Rate limits

How many requests a Gensiv API key can send and what happens when it goes over.

Each key can send 120 requests a minute. Over that, the API answers 429 until the minute is up:

{
  "message": "Too many requests",
  "why": "This key sent more requests than its rate limit allows",
  "fix": "Wait a minute and send the request again"
}

The limit is per key, so two keys in the same workspace each get 120 a minute. Requests from the MCP server with a key count toward the same limit.

To stay under it, page through lists with page and pageSize instead of fetching every page at once, and cache responses that don't change often, such as the brand hub or the engine list.
