New features and changes to the Gensiv API.

October 2026

Subreddit rules on Reddit opportunities.

  • GET /brands/{brandId}/reddit/opportunities returns aiContentPolicy and promotionPolicy for each thread: what the subreddit's rules say about AI-written comments and about mentioning your own product. Both are null until the subreddit's rules have been read.
  • The MCP tool list_reddit_opportunities returns the same two fields.

Prompt tags and topics.

  • Prompts can be grouped by topic, tag, funnel stage and whether they name your brand. See Tags and topics.
  • GET /brands/{brandId}/prompt-groups lists a brand's topics and tags.
  • GET /brands/{brandId}/metrics/groups returns visibility, position, sentiment and share of voice per group.
  • GET /brands/{brandId}/prompts returns topic, tags, funnelStage and branded for each prompt.
  • The metrics, daily metrics, prompt metrics and responses endpoints accept topicId, tagId and branded.
  • New MCP tools list_prompt_groups and get_group_metrics. The metrics and responses tools accept the same three filters.

September 2026

Google AI Mode and new plans.

  • Google AI Mode is now tracked on every plan. GET /engines returns it with the slug google-ai-mode, and every endpoint that takes engine accepts it.
  • Microsoft Copilot is no longer tracked as an engine. Copilot referral visits still appear in AI referral traffic.
  • The API and MCP server are included on every Pro tier and on Enterprise.

AI referral traffic.

  • GET /brands/{brandId}/traffic returns visits, key events and revenue from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot and other AI assistants, per day, from the brand's Google Analytics 4 property. See Google Analytics.
  • New MCP tool get_ai_traffic.

Action plans and AI-written articles in the API and MCP server.

Alerts in the API and MCP server.

  • GET /brands/{brandId}/alerts lists a brand's alerts, newest first: visibility drops, competitors overtaking the brand and new sources citing a rival.
  • New MCP tool list_alerts, so an AI assistant can answer "what changed for my brand this week?".

The Gensiv API and MCP server are available.

  • Read-only REST API with workspace API keys, available on every paid plan (now every Pro tier and Enterprise).
  • Endpoints for brands, competitors, prompts, visibility metrics, daily metrics, metrics per prompt, cited sources, individual AI responses and Reddit opportunities.
  • MCP server at /v1/mcp with the same data, for Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients.
