What is Google AI Mode?
Also called AI Mode.
Google AI Mode is the conversational tab in Google Search that answers a question with a longer AI-generated response and follow-up questions, built from many background searches and linked to its sources.
AI Mode and AI Overviews are separate surfaces with separate answers. An overview is a short summary above normal results; AI Mode replaces the results page with a full answer, so a brand can appear in one and not the other.
