What is Neutral querying?
Also called logged-out querying, stateless querying.
Neutral querying is measuring AI answers in a fresh session with no account, history, memory or custom instructions, so the response reflects an anonymous user rather than a personalised one.
Personalisation flatters. An assistant logged into an account that has discussed your brand is far more likely to mention it, which makes personalised measurement systematically optimistic and not comparable between clients.
