What is Answer variance?
Answer variance is the tendency of an AI assistant to give different answers to the same question on different occasions, even with identical input. It is inherent to how generative models sample text.
Variance is why a single query is not a measurement. A brand can appear in one run and not the next with nothing having changed, so credible visibility figures average across multiple runs.
In Gensiv
Gensiv reports a rate held steady across run-to-run variance rather than the result of any single query.
